Blanc de Noir
Our speciality, a white wine crafted from the red Zweigelt varietal, is very impressive with fruity raspberry / morello cherry aromas and animating acidity. One glass is not enough! Fine companion for Mediterranean and Asian-inspired dishes.
Grüner Veltliner, Alte Reben, Weinviertel DAC
Typical for our region, crafted from 25 years old vines: subtle grapefruit, with hints of tobacco; spicy notes of pepper and minerals; full-bodied with a long finish. Enjoy it with typical Austrian dishes as well as with fish, seafood and poultry.
Riesling, Falkenstein
Inviting nose with intense stone fruit aromas and cool minerally spiciness. The palate is full and round, juicy apricot fruit and lively fruit-acidity plays with enticing drinkability.
Falkenstein, Weissburgunder Reserve
The Falkenstein castle is the center of the Falkenstein limestone cliffs. The chalky soil is tailor-made for our Weissburgunder. Crafted in the Burgundian style and matured „sur lie“ in 1,000 l oak-barrels. Complex nose with fruit and mineral flavours; creamy, with full-bodied texture on the palate; excellent ageing potential. The label shows an excerpt from our oldest wine law, dated 1309. A tribute to the long tradition of wine growing in our region.
Ortolan, Cuvée Prestige
Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris from the best sites of the limestone cliffs in Falkenstein. Matured "sur lie" for 10 months in 500 l oak barrels, a powerful but also elegant wine with mineralic notes and an excellent ageing potential. The label shows an excerpt from our oldest wine law, dated 1309. A tribute to the long tradition of wine-growing of our region.
Ried Hocheck, Pinot Noir Reserve
Bright cherry red with tan edges. Ethereal fruit game of raspberries, sour cherries and orange zest. Vital on the palate with beautifully structured tannins, fine fruit and an appealing aftertaste.
