Pétillant naturel or "Pét Nat" is a sparkling delight that differs from classic sparkling wine production mainly in one aspect: the wine undergoes only one fermentation. This starts in the steel tank and is completed in the bottle—without the addition of sugar or yeast. Hence the name "pétillant naturel", meaning "naturally sparkling".
