At the foot of Falkenstein Castle, at just under 400m above sea level, this privileged single vineyard is perfectly south-facing. The poor soils of calcareous sediments and clay favor the distinctly mineral character of this finely textured Pinot with depth and spice. The aging took place over 15 months in French oak barrels.
